"Harsh Noise Wall is a controversial genre, at least among the opinionated misanthropes that populate the underground noise scene. Accusations of nihilism and of a general lack of talent (or even exertion of effort) plague its prolific practitioners, but these criticisms largely miss the point entirely.

HNW is not meant to be edge of your seat engaging music. Arguably it's not even meant to be consumed like music at all. The best walls are enveloping, almost spiritual meditations on nothingness or everything all at once. Exercises in pure unmoving texture. Absolute darkness or absolute light.

A good subject for PSALM 88 really, and we're happy to have gotten one of the genre's finest practitioners to somehow agree to do a tape for us. So deep drink from the well absolutism, and enjoy these two relentless slabs of static minimalism."
